Here he is, Bailey the Labradoodle. We’re looking after him for a friend while they’re on holiday and I thought seen as the sun was out I’d grab a few photos using the new Canon. I also wanted to try out my new Sandisk Extreme SD Card.
Fair play to Bailey he was extremely well behaved for me, so he deserved a hand full of treats for his patience. hopefully I’ll get to take some more photos of him before he goes home.

So last weekend I visited a venue called the Crew in Nuneaton. They have a Monthly Metal night there so I thought I would head along with local Metal band Futurekill to film there night.
First impressions, WOW ! what a fantastic venue! If I was a band I would be booking there. Upstairs is literally the best local venue by far.

Spent a couple of hours putting the latest DVD of the Reminders together tonight. The footage I taken from the rewind festival came out rather good considering my position to the stage and lighting. I recorded in Full HD at 29 Frames a second. Spent tonight with The Reminders sifting through all their media. Videos and photos – all 14GB of it! I think its important to decide what everyone wants as a band and between us pick out what stands out so they have a strong digital presence on the internet and DVD’s/CDs etc.
As tedious as trawling through that amount of media may sound I can honestly say the sense of achievement, enthusiasm and passion for what they do strong overcome any initial lack of motivation.
Now the hard work begins, processing, editing and uploading all of this. A mammoth task but as they say “An elephant can be eaten, one bite at a time” Watch this space, some exciting things to come…….
I have the pleasure of looking after next doors cat over the next few days. He used to be incredibly scared of me (as he is with all strangers) but now we’re like best mates. I though I’d try and capture some footage of him and maybe print some photos off. I sort of wish I had taken my tripod, but I simply propped it up using the clear bumper case on my iPhone. Charlie got a little too close at one point though!
Sometimes its easy to overlook something. A person, a place or even a bargain. Today I took photos and videos of spiders. Nothing new there your thinking right? Wrong! I stumbled upon a Spiders nest. Crammed with hundreds of eggs and freshly hatched young. The nest was tiny, probably no more than an Inch across. Using a macro lens and an iPhone 4s I managed to grab some photos and a video for you to admire.
